TORONTO, March 6, 2012 – Score Media Inc (TSX: SCR) today announces the launch of French, German and Portuguese editions of its soccer app ScoreMobile FC for the iPhone.
The free app from the makers of ScoreMobile®, a leading free sports app worldwide, already offers detailed soccer coverage for English and Spanish-speaking fans. And this latest expansion ensures even more fans globally will be able to stay up-to-date with the very latest soccer news, results and statistics.
ScoreMobile FC covers over 100 soccer leagues and competitions from Europe, Latin America, and around the world. It is one of three mobile apps from Score Media Inc, with ScoreMobile FC, ScoreMobile and SportsTap receiving 3.6 million combined unique visitors a month.
“After the enormous success of our English and Spanish versions of ScoreMobile FC, it made absolute sense to expand further into other markets which we know also have gigantic soccer followings,” said Dale Fallon, VP Digital Products, Score Media Inc. “ScoreMobile FC provides extensive coverage of many different leagues and competitions all over the world, so we wanted to ensure as many fans as possible will be able to enjoy the great service this app offers.”
