What do you do at theScore?
I’m a graphic designer on the marketing team. That entails touching nearly all marketing assets in regards to promoting our media app and sports betting app, which is on track to launch in the US, starting with New Jersey, in the coming weeks.
How long have you been working at theScore?
I’ve been working at theScore since January 2018.
What’s the best perk of working at theScore?
For me, as a graphic designer, I’m able to combine all my passions – designing, sports, and now betting as well.

What qualities does a person need to work at theScore?
To work at theScore, one needs to be self-driven, creative, and have strong time management skills. It’s important to be ambitious and speak up because all opinions are valued.
What’s your fondest memory of working at theScore?
I’ve been here for a year and a half and the whole experience has been awesome. I don’t know if I can sum it up into one memory. However, getting the opportunity to work on some exciting projects around the sports betting app has been fascinating. As a designer, you dream of opportunities like these.
Do you follow any particular sports/esports/teams?
I’m a huge Buffalo Bills fan. However, since that usually ends up depressing me, I rely on my other true love, basketball (sorry hun). On top of that I watch tennis, baseball, hockey, volleyball, Overwatch, and follow the EPL pretty closely.
Any hidden talents?
That’s a tough question. I’m pretty good at the mobile game Subway Surfers. I have the top score of the week in all of Canada with 2.4 trillion. Is that even a talent? Arguable.
What are your favorite podcasts?
I like Reply All and anything by Gimlet Media, This American Life, Radio Lab, and The Tim Ferriss Show. I also listen to some Joe Rogan depending on the guests. To be honest, anything non-sports. I’m surrounded by too many sports know-it-all’s all day and it gets extremely taxing on my mental state.
Do you have any strange phobias?
I don’t know about strange but I highly dislike snakes. Oh, and mattress foam. If it doesn’t have a sheet over it, I can’t touch it. It sends shivers down my spine.
What’s one thing on your bucket list you haven’t achieved yet?
So, I have a few things. I want to play basketball at the West 4th and Broadway New York street courts and ideally be dunked on, go sky diving, and build a house in a foreign country, maybe Uruguay.
