TORONTO, May 4, 2021 – Score Media and Gaming Inc. (TSX: SCR; NASDAQ: SCR) (“theScore” or the “Company”) announced that Eric Wachs has been named Vice President of Esports sales. In this role, Wachs will help lead theScore esports’ global partnerships team, working with brands to craft strategies that reach millions of gaming fans. He is based in Los Angeles.

Wachs, a veteran ad sales executive, most recently was Director of Strategic Alliances at Live Nation, where he created sponsorships for non-endemic brands looking to engage live music fans. Previously, he was a co-founder at Fullbottle, an influencer marketing platform where he oversaw new relationships with clients including Disney, Pabst Blue Ribbon, PepsiCo and Hasbro.
In joining theScore esports, Wachs returns to the gaming industry. He previously spent ten years in key roles working for Miniclip (acquired by Tencent). At Miniclip, he was part of the senior executive team, where his sales leadership and product marketing strategies produced record revenues. Prior to Miniclip, Wachs worked as an Account Executive with the Dodgers Radio Network.
